当宿のいくつかある自家菜園、合計で約0.5ヘクタール（約5km四方）の広さの畑、では宿や姉妹店で使う野菜を作っています。
試しで色々な野菜も育てているのですが、今回は「堀川ごぼう」がよく育ちました！
思っていたよりも少しだけ短かったですが近々食べてみたいと思います。
触ってみると外側は普通のごぼうよりももっと「木」っぽくて、なかなか歯ごたえがありそうなやつです（笑）。
自家菜園では今はネギと白菜がたくさん育っているので、宿の鍋などには畑の野菜が無くなるまでは自家菜園の採れたて野菜が入ります。

I am making the vegetables used at a hotel or an affiliated store in my home garden (it is about 0.5-ha field in total).
Although I was growing various vegetables experimentally, the “Horikawa burdock” grew well this time!
I would like to eat soon, although length was short than expected.
Although I touched the burdock, the outside resembles the tree more rather than the ordinary burdock, and it is likely to be very hard to chew (smile).
Since I am growing much Welsh onion and Chinese cabbage now in the home garden, I use for the pan of supper the vegetables which can be taken and are built.

我在我的自家菜園（以共計約0.5公頃的田地）種著在宿驛和系列店使用的蔬菜。
我栽培著向(到)實驗的各種各樣的蔬菜,不過，此次「運河牛蒡」很好地成長了！
比想都長度短,不過我想近日想吃一下。
我觸摸了那個牛蒡,不過，外側比比起普通的牛蒡更更像樹，相當快要有嚼頭的了(笑)都。
我因為現在，在自家菜園栽培著很多蔥和白菜，把被採用的蔬菜用在?飯的鍋。
