当宿は昔ながらの民宿として40年以上営業しています。

特徴は、
・大原温泉　湯元　の民宿
・味噌鍋「発祥」の民宿（当宿から大原に広がりました）
・100年以上こだわりの味噌作りをしている（この製法の味噌は大原では当宿だけ）
・姉妹店の味噌庵は各種メディアでたくさん取り上げられています
・こだわり味噌を使った色々な鍋料理（懐石料理などはございません）
・冬はぼたん、夏は鮎、通年でレアな京都肉、など季節限定の（鍋）料理
・露天風呂は五右衛門風呂
・四季がよくわかる自然
・庭は某有名庭師の監修で自然を生かした造り
・民宿なのでバストイレや水回りは共有（2部屋だけバストイレ付き）
・民宿なので布団引きなど色々なサービスがセルフサービス

誇れない特徴は、
・山の中の宿なので虫が出る
・建物が部分によっては築40年なので古いです
・良くも悪くも民宿のサービス（頑張ります）

We have opened up for over 40 years as minsyuku style.

1,Outt hot spring is source of the oohara hot spring.
2,We are the first inn where provides miso hot pot in oohara.
3,Our miso hot pot spread around oohara.
4,We has been making the miso by using our special process for 100years that others never make like it.
5,Our sisters shop “MISOAN” is extensively quoted in the media
6,There are variety of meals as hot pot by using the miso.(there is NO “japanse KAISEKI meal”)
7,We have boar hot pot in winter, Ayu(river fish, like a sweetfish) in summer and kyoto beef sukiyaki or shabushabu through a whole year.
8,The outside hot spa is called “goemon-buro”, such as huge kettel bathtub.
9,You feel season.
10,The beautiful garden is made care by well known gardener who make kinkakuji-temple in Japan.
11,Toilets and bath are shared.(There are only 2 rooms with private toilet and bathroom /based on additional charge.)

Misfeature
1,There is an insect because we are in the mountains.
2,Some parts of the accomodations is 40s are old.
3,We provide a minsyuku style service in the same way others.
